Lockheed Martin has announced that it has integrated Red 6's latest augmented reality (AR) technology on its flight simulator designed to train pilots on the TF-50 light fighter trainer.

The aim of this integration is to increase pilot readiness with fewer flight hours.

"This milestone demonstrates Lockheed Martin's commitment to meeting customer needs and advancing 21st century safety solutions through targeted digital investments and strategic partnerships," said OJ Sanchez, Vice President and General Manager of Integrated Fighter Group at Lockheed Martin.

Since announcing their partnership, Red 6 and Lockheed Martin have continued their close collaboration on advanced mission training in real, virtual and constructive environments, and recently announced an expanded partnership through a new Mentor-Protected agreement.
