Lockheed Martin and General Dynamics have signed a strategic agreement to produce solid rocket motors, aimed at strengthening the domestic defense supply chain.

The partnership will accelerate production of critical solutions, such as engines for the Guided Multiple Rocket Launcher System (GMLRS), with production scheduled to begin in 2025 at the General Dynamics plant in Camden, Arkansas.

The agreement reflects both companies' commitment to enhancing the resilience of the defense industrial base and supporting critical capabilities for the armed forces.
