Logitech International S A : Build Back Better. The Planet Can’t Wait.

President Biden recently signed into law a bipartisan infrastructure bill that will invest billions in modernizing the grid, electrifying transportation, and making our communities more resilient to the impacts of climate change. We want to thank Congress and the President for their leadership and investment in our future; it gives us hope that we can work together to solve the world's most pressing problems.

While the Bipartisan Infrastructure Deal is a groundbreaking effort, the even larger opportunity to make a long-term, meaningful impact on the climate crisis is through the Build Back Better Act. At Logitech, we believe that addressing climate change means putting in place new incentives for the production of clean, renewable electricity, modernizing our aging power grid, and addressing the production and use of fossil fuels - all key pieces of the Build Back Better Act. Federal policies like these will not only help save the planet, but can help companies achieve their climate positive goals. That is why we want to congratulate the House of Representatives on passing this historic legislation just before the holiday break.

But House passage is only the first step. Logitech is now calling on the Senate to act quickly on the full package and get it to President Biden's desk before the end of the year. This is what the world is expecting from the United States and we simply cannot afford half measures when it comes to climate.

Logitech is committed to doing our part to reduce and neutralize carbon across our business as we move forward with our climate positive strategy, and we support elected leaders being just as bold. The climate crisis can't wait. Neither can we.
