Lojas Renner S.A. reported consolidated earnings results for the second quarter and first half ended June 2016. For the quarter, the company posted net operating revenues of BRL 1,647,580,000 compared to BRL 1,536,401,000, operating profit before financial results of BRL 272,459,000 compared to BRL 253,874,000, profit before income & Soc. Cont. taxes of BRL 245,350,000 compared to BRL 228,089,000, profit of BRL 174,808,000 or BRL 0.2708 per diluted share compared to BRL 158,169,000 or BRL 0.2462 per diluted share, cash flow from operating activities results of BRL 418,280,000 compared to BRL 381,500,000, purchases of property, plant and equipment assets of BRL 87,200,000 compared to BRL 117,814,000 and additions to intangible assets of BRL 36,780,000 compared to BRL 28,793,000 for the last year. Adjusted total EBITDA was BRL 356.1 million compared to BRL 326.2 million for the last year.
For the six months, the company posted net operating revenues of BRL 2,894,949,000 compared to BRL 2,710,348,000, operating profit before financial results of BRL 378,002,000 compared to BRL 384,449,000, profit before income & Soc. Cont. taxes of BRL 326,813,000 compared to BRL 330,679,000, profit of BRL 240,323,000 or BRL 0.3727 per diluted share compared to BRL 231,359,000 or BRL 0.3608 per diluted share, cash flow from operating activities results of BRL 556,410,000 compared to BRL 548,664,000, purchases of property, plant and equipment assets of BRL 154,048,000 compared to BRL 178,282,000 and additions to intangible assets of BRL 57,499,000 compared to BRL 39,818,000 for the last year. Adjusted total EBITDA was BRL 541.9 million compared to BRL 525.0 million for the last year.
Lojas Renner S.A. specializes in the retail distribution of clothes and accessories for men, women and children. Gross sales break down by activity as follows:
- sale of products (90.4%): clothes, lingerie, shoes, bags, accessories, perfumes, cosmetic products, etc.;
- financial products (9.6%).
At the end of 2021, the marketing of the products is ensured through a network of 636 stores under the Renner (404), Camicado (119), Youcom (104) and Ashua (9) names in Brazil, and through Internet.
