Lojas Renner S.A. reported earnings results for the first quarter ended March 31, 2022. For the first quarter, the company reported revenue was BRL 2,613.02 million compared to BRL 1,581.39 million a year ago. Net income was BRL 191.63 million compared to net loss of BRL 147.7 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was BRL 0.1948 compared to basic loss per share from continuing operations of BRL 0.1675 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was BRL 0.1944.
Lojas Renner S.A. specializes in the retail distribution of clothes and accessories for men, women and children. Gross sales break down by activity as follows:
- sale of products (90.4%): clothes, lingerie, shoes, bags, accessories, perfumes, cosmetic products, etc.;
- financial products (9.6%).
At the end of 2021, the marketing of the products is ensured through a network of 636 stores under the Renner (404), Camicado (119), Youcom (104) and Ashua (9) names in Brazil, and through Internet.
