Lojas Renner S.A. Announced earnings results for the third quarter ended September 30, 2020. For the third quarter, the company announced total revenue was BRL 1,790.039 million compared to BRL 2,225.755 million a year ago. Net loss was BRL 82.873 million compared to net income of BRL 186.732 million a year ago. Basic loss per share was BRL 0.1046 compared to basic earnings per share of BRL 0.2356 a year ago. Diluted loss per share was BRL 0.1044 compared to diluted earnings per share of BRL 0.235 a year ago. For the nine months, total revenue was BRL 4,462.306 million compared to BRL 6,409.876 million a year ago. Net income was BRL 742.315 million compared to BRL 573.448 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was BRL 0.9363 compared to BRL 0.755 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share was BRL 0.9346 compared to BRL 0.752 a year ago.
Lojas Renner S.A. specializes in the retail distribution of clothes and accessories for men, women and children. Gross sales break down by activity as follows:
- sale of products (90.4%): clothes, lingerie, shoes, bags, accessories, perfumes, cosmetic products, etc.;
- financial products (9.6%).
At the end of 2021, the marketing of the products is ensured through a network of 636 stores under the Renner (404), Camicado (119), Youcom (104) and Ashua (9) names in Brazil, and through Internet.
