Longhui International Holdings Limited provided earnings guidance for the six months ended 30 June 2019. The board of directors of the company announced that shareholders of the company and potential investors that based on the information currently available to the Board, the Company is expected to record an increase in net loss for the six months ended 30 June 2019 as compared to 2018. The increase in net loss was mainly attributable to: the decrease in the revenue of the hotpot business of its existing restaurants due to the decrease in customer flow impacted by the economic recession in mainland and competition in other restaurants which lead to lesser attraction from customers as compared to the six months ended 30 June 2018; and the effects of the application of International Financial Reporting Standard 16 Leases'' (effective from 1 January 2019) on the expenditures spent on the leases of the restaurants the Group operates.
