Lowe's Cos. on Wednesday said it would pay another $100 million in discretionary bonuses this month to its U.S. hourly workers to reward them for their efforts during the coronavirus pandemic.

The Mooresville, N.C., home-improvement retailer said full-time employees would receive $300 each, while part-time and seasonal workers would get $150 apiece, in line with the four previous bonuses Lowe's has paid this year.

Lowe's said the latest bonus brings its total incremental financial support to employees this year to $675 million and its total commitment to its workers and its communities during the pandemic to more than $775 million.
