TORONTO (AP) _ Lundin Mining Corp. (LUNMF) on Wednesday reported second-quarter net income of $38.7 million, after reporting a loss in the same period a year earlier.

The Toronto-based company said it had profit of 5 cents per share. Earnings, adjusted for non-recurring costs, came to 7 cents per share.

The base metals mining company posted revenue of $533.3 million in the period.

Lundin shares have risen slightly since the beginning of the year. The stock has increased 20% in the last 12 months.
