To celebrate the International Day for Biological Diversity on May 22, Moët Hennessy is devoting its first cycle of round-table discussions, the MH Talk Series, to environmental issues. From May 18 to 21, these conferences, which bring together experts on biodiversity, will highlight Moët Hennessy's Living Soils, Living Together program.

The MH Talk Series enables discussions between professionals around the contemporary values, missions and objectives of Moët Hennessy. The talks are held at 142, rue du Bac in Paris' 7th arrondissement, where the wines and spirits division of LVMH is based, adjacent to La Grande Epicerie and Le Bon Marché. In this welcoming, modern ambiance, experts, intellectuals, journalists, scientists and top managers of LVMH Maisons meet to exchange ideas with the potential to shape the future. During an entire week devoted to biodiversity, the MH Talk Series features eminent panels of men and women who are all passionate about protecting the living world.

The central theme of this biodiversity week is inspired by the philosophy of Moët Hennessy: Living Soils, Living Together. The goal of regenerating soils in order to preserve the balance of living organisms and to ensure the quality of the raw materials that are essential for crafting wines and spirits is a key focus of Moët Hennessy. The program of the week comprises three conferences and one master class, which will invite participants to discover biodiversity in all its forms and to reflect on the best actions going forward.

On 18 May, the conference entitled 'Microorganisms, Catalysts of our Soils' brings together Gilles Bœuf, Specialist in environmental physiology and biodiversity, Marc-André Selosse, Microbiologist specializing in botany and mycology, and Frédéric Gallois, Operational Director for the Moët & Chandon and Ruinart vineyards.

On 19 May, the talk 'From Bees to Birds, These Heroes of our Ecosystems' offers a platform to Thierry Dufresne, Director of the French Observatory of Apiology, Frédéric Mahler, Vice-President of the Ornithological Centre and delegate of the LPO (League for the Protection of Birds) of the Ile-de-France region, Béatrice and Gilbert Cochet, Authors of L'Europe réensauvagée. Vers un nouveau monde (Actes Sud), Jessica Julmy, Managing Director of Château Galoupet, and Vincent Erret, Vineyard Tractorist at Veuve Clicquot.

Finally, 21 May is devoted to forests, which are teeming reservoirs of life. 'Regenerate the Forests, Restore our Ecosystems' is a major, inspiring theme for Stéphane Hallaire, CEO of Reforest'action, Laurent Boillot, President of Hennessy, Frédéric Dufour, President of Ruinart, and Hélène Valade, Environmental Director of LVMH. The round-table discussion is moderated by Sandrine Sommer, Chief Sustainability Officer of Moët Hennessy.

The MH Talk Series reveals the secrets of the fragile balance of our biodiversity and spotlights the sometimes invisible actors of our ecosystems. From 18 to 21 May, all the talks will be streamed live in French with simultaneous translation into English.
