Macquarie Securities, the institutional equities arm of Macquarie Group ("Macquarie") (ASX:MQG)(ADR:MQBKY), today announced the appointment of Rajesh Ghai as Senior Tech Analyst covering Enterprise IT and Data Center Infrastructure.

Mr. Ghai, who is based in Macquarie's New York office, has more than 13 years of industry and sell-side experience in the technology, data and networking sectors. He has established a highly successful track record - ranking third and first in the Wall Street Journal's "Best on the Street" for Computers & Office Equipment in 2013 and 2011 respectively, and first in 2010 and 2011 by Starmine/FT in Computers and Peripherals - in addition to strong sales force and client feedback for his stock calls.

Mr. Ghai joins from boutique research and investment banking firm Craig-Hallum, where he was a Senior Research Analyst covering storage solutions & services, hardware, communications equipment, and networking solutions, and held a similar position at boutique investment bank ThinkEquity. He received a BS degree from the Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur and an MBA from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University.
