NEW YORK, October 29, 2021 - The New York Rangers will celebrate and call for a collective "thank you" to the thousands of workers on the front lines during the COVID-19 pandemic by hosting Essential Workers Night presented by Northwell Health, tonight, October 29 when they take on the Columbus Blue Jackets at Madison Square Garden at 7 p.m. ET.

Honorees include first responders, healthcare personnel, nursing home attendants, MTA employees, sanitation workers, and others. Special programming and fan experiences will be provided throughout the evening.

The Rangers will wear custom warm-up jerseys to be auctioned after the game at auctions.nhl.com/newyorkrangers. In addition, the Rangers are wearing a commemorative Essential Workers patch on their practice jersey, which is inspired by Northwell Health's first responders. These patches are available for purchase at auctions.nhl.com/newyorkrangers. Essential worker pucks and t-shirts are available for purchase at Shop.MSG.com. Portions of the proceeds from all custom Essential Workers merchandise will benefit Northwell Health Foundation.
