COMPANY ANNOUNCEMENT TO THE MARKET
MAHLE Metal Leve S.A. (B3 - Novo Mercado: LEVE3) (the "Company") announces to its shareholders and the general market that, on March 15, 2022, officially open a new facility in its filter factory in the city of Mogi Guaçu, State of São Paulo, for the production of spin-on oil filter for passenger cars, trucks and agricultural machinery.
The local production of spin-on oil filter for the Aftermarket and Original Equipment segment will enable the Company to become an exporter rather than an importer of the product. The new facility is expected to create new jobs, reduce costs and shorten delivery time for enhanced competitiveness.
The opening of this new facility demonstrates Mahle's commitment towards expanding its business and outlines its aim to achieve long-term growth and profitability and to further strengthen its position in the market.
