The Łódź Special Economic Zone is implementing the S5 - 5G Technology Accelerator project - the first acceleration program in Poland to support the development of innovative 5G solutions. The application submitted by VirtualCar360 successfully passed the recruitment phase and has been accepted into the program. Thanks to the support obtained under the project, the VC360 platform will be expanded to enable presentation of vehicles in the form of real-time videostreaming and will also become a comprehensive online tool for selling vehicles.

Virtual Car 360 is the result of more than 2 years of intensive cooperation between two companies that have been dynamically operating at the interface of automotive and IT - MakoLab and CSP Automotive. It offers innovative e-commerce solutions for the automotive market, so it fits perfectly into the trend of online car sales. Over 100 companies from Poland, Ireland, the Czech Republic and India applied for the S5 Accelerator program of the Łódź Special Economic Zone. The Virtual Car 360 startup joining the group of companies developing their innovative solutions through the 5G technology is a great success and a chance for further quick growth.
The project qualified for the S5 Accelerator is a significant expansion of the VirtualCar360 (VC360) platform, an advanced tool for creating and publishing vehicle sales offers in various online channels. The solution is used by dealer networks, remarketing centres, dealers and leasing companies, thanks to which they can comprehensively prepare standardised sales offers and automate their publication online. Currently, the platform is used for selling new and used cars; after further modifications, it will also be usable by companies offering non-standard and large-size vehicles.
The VC360 platform is already a unique solution on a European scale. There is no equally comprehensive tool on the market for handling the entire car sales process - from taking a photo session of the vehicle using a mobile app, to publishing its sales offer on websites in an attractive visual form and with a full description. The implementation of the videostreaming module for high-quality real-time video presentation of vehicles and the module for online sales transactions will further increase the competitiveness of the solution.

The implementation of high-quality videostreaming in 5G technology is a new quality of e-commerce in vehicle sales. Thanks to the real-time video presentation, the Customer will be able to watch the vehicle remotely 'live' in a quality identical to an inspection at the place of sale. By talking to the dealer, the Customer will be able to look at the vehicle's details and mark them for the further sales process. Real-time video presentation also guarantees that we see the vehicle in its actual condition, which allows us to build trust in the seller and the entire sales process online. The project results should significantly change the attitude to automotive e-commerce and expand the scope of the online stage in completing the sales transactions.

says Michał Hertel, Head of Communication and Business Development at MakoLab.

Entities operating in the automotive industry face a huge market challenge caused by the development of e-commerce. Effective online sales requires advanced solutions for presentation, customer communication and completion of the purchase process. The automotive industry is one of the engines of global innovation, but in the case of online sales, purchases are still finalised in car showrooms. This is due to the lack of advanced and efficient solutions for the preparation of professional sales presentations for online marketing and sales.

To increase the chances for full transfer of the vehicle sales process to the Internet and the inclusion of various types of vehicles in addition to passenger cars, we need solutions utilising the latest technologies, enabling access to products at a level similar to face-to-face contact. From this perspective, the key to the project is the implementation of sales activities in the model of high-quality real-time video presentations and a complete e-commerce feature adapted to the needs of various types of vehicles

says Andrzej Wrona, CEO of Virtual Car 360.
