Premier League clubs have been busy in the transfer market in an unusually short off-season because of the pandemic-induced late finish to last season. Chelsea has been especially active with Germany midfielder Kai Havertz heading its $250 million spending spree. Colombia playmaker James Rodriguez is looking to revive his career at Everton while Donny Van de Beek and Ferran Torres look like exciting arrivals to strengthen the squads of Manchester United and Manchester City, respectively. Among the other intriguing transfers are 18-year-old striker Fabio Silva at Wolverhampton and Brazilian centre back Gabriel at Arsenal.
