Mandarin Oriental International Ltd. said Thursday that Matthew Bishop will be appointed as chief financial officer of the company starting Sept. 1, replacing Craig Beattie, who will take up the CFO role at Hongkong Land Holdings Ltd.

Mandarin Oriental said Mr. Beattie will take up the role at Hongkong Land with effect from the same date. Both luxury hotel group Mandarin Oriental and property company Hongkong Land are part of the Jardine Matheson Group.

Mr. Bishop joined Jardine Matheson in 2010 and has held a number of senior finance roles across the group. He has been group treasurer of Jardine Matheson since December 2018, Mandarin Oriental said.

Hongkong Land said separately on Thursday that Simon Dixon, its current CFO, has decided to step down from his role at the end of August.

Mr. Beattie joined Jardine Matheson in 2006 and has held a number of senior finance roles across the group, Hongkong Land said.
