Marcus & Millichap Arranges the Sale of a Two Property Self-Storage Portfolio

FRANKLIN, Ohio, February 1, 2023 - Marcus & Millichap (NYSE: MMI), a leading commercial real estate brokerage firm specializing in investment sales, financing, research and advisory services, announced today the sale of Franklin Ohio Self Storage, a 48,588-square-foot self-storage portfolio located in Franklin, Ohio, according to Grant Fitzgerald, regional manager of the firm's Columbus office.
Gabriel Coe, Brett R. Hatcher and Nathan Coe, investment specialists in Marcus & Millichap's Columbus office, had the exclusive listing to market the property on behalf of the seller, a limited liability company.
"This sold to an out-of-state buyer as part of a multi-state portfolio sale," said Gabriel Coe, the lead agent involved, "The buyers will be able to benefit from a high in place cash flow, high occupancies and ability to increase rents going forward."
Franklin Ohio Self Storage is located about 14.50 miles southwest of Dayton, Ohio in Franklin, Ohio. The facilities are situated on a combined 7.61 acres of land and feature a combined 273 non-climate-controlled self-storage units, 61 rentable parking spaces, two rentable office spaces, and two rentable residential spaces totaling 48,588 net rentable square feet. The properties are located within a mile of each other and have a combined 78 percent physical occupancy.
