Masi wines were included among the stars of the international music world and the members of the Swedish Royal Family yesterday evening in Stockholm, as this year's Polar Music Prize was given to Sting and Wayne Shorter. Two Masi wines were chosen by Gabriel Ask, the executive chef of the Grand Hotel, for the royal reception convened by Carl XVI Gustaf of Sweden: Moxxé Brut 2016 and Campofiorin 2014.

Our Spumante Brut with its fine and elegant perlage from Masi's estates in Friuli was the wine that welcomed the winners of the Swedish 'Grammy', Sting and Wayne Shorter, in a gathering of 600 selected guests. Campofiorin 2014, served in 50th-birthday celebratory magnums was the wine chosen for the start of the gale banquet, served with a first course that was completely vegetarian in respect for Sting's personal food preferences.

For Raffaele Boscaini, Marketing Director of Masi Agricola, who was at the event: 'The Swedish Royal Family show their liking for our wine once again. In fact, they have used significant wines from the Masi range at their most important events for the last eight years. Also, seeing Sting's appreciation for Campofiorin was particularly pleasing, given that he is a wine producer himself in Tuscany.'
