These gases are used in the food, chemical, metal, electronics and pharmaceutical industries as well as in healthcare. Maxima also provides equipment and services for its products to the defense sector, the health services, food, agriculture and fisheries. Its subsidiaries include Maxima Medical Ltd, engaged in the Production and marketing off Nitrous Oxide, marketing Oxygen for breathing, importing respiratory machines, and solutions for treating sleep disorders; Aragim Ltd, engaged in the import and marketing of special gases and related cryobiological equipment, and On Hatzafon (Maxima) Ltd, engaged in the distribution of gases for industry in northern Israel.
