MaxLinear, Inc. reported earnings results for the first quarter ended March 31, 2022. For the first quarter, the company reported sales was USD 263.93 million compared to USD 209.36 million a year ago. Net income was USD 33.59 million compared to USD 3.8 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was USD 0.44 compared to USD 0.05 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was USD 0.42 compared to USD 0.05 a year ago.

Its customers include electronics distributors, module makers, original equipment manufacturers, and original design manufacturers, who incorporate its products in a range of electronic devices, such as broadband modems compliant with data over cable service interface specifications, passive optical network, and digital subscriber line; Wi-Fi and wireline routers for home networking; radio transceivers and modems for 4G/5G base-station and backhaul infrastructure; optical transceivers targeting hyperscale data centers; as well as power management and interface products used in markets.
