NEW YORK, June 6, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Aviation Week continues to reinforce its global presence in the Chinese business aviation market with new official media partnerships and an expanded portfolio linked to its long-standing Chinese partner, China Aviation Publishing & Media Co. Ltd. (CAPMC). In July, CAPMC will launch Business & General Aviation (BGA), a bi-monthly publication closely connected to Aviation Week's Business & Commercial Aviation (BCA). Aviation Week will also launch a new Business Aviation Development Conference in Beijing in November 2011, an event that these print and online publications will cover in an official capacity.

Completing Aviation Week's trifecta of business aviation prowess in China, the National Business Aviation Association (NBAA) has named Aviation Week and CAPMC the official international media partners for the Asian Business Aviation Convention and Exhibition (ABACE) 2012, which makes BGA and BCA, along with CAPMC's International Aviation and CAN News, the official publications of this key business aviation event set for March 27-29, 2012 in Shanghai, China. Aviation Week's ShowNews will also be published at the show in both English and Mandarin Chinese.

"China is an essential and rapidly growing aviation market -- indeed, the fastest emerging economy in the world, and Aviation Week is there -- in print, online and with a dynamic presence at events," said Greg Hamilton, president, Aviation Week. "As a result of the long-term investments and partnerships we have fostered in China over the past 25 years, Aviation Week and our Business & Commercial Aviation brand are positioned to help our customers grow their businesses in China, just as the business aviation market begins to accelerate there."

As a new publication in print and online, BGA will combine the unparalleled editorial, authoritative and professional articles that readers expect from Aviation Week and CAPMC with local market knowledge. Specifically, BGA will include global intelligence, need-to-know features, expert commentary, and the culture and history of private and business aviation in China.

The Beijing Business Aviation Development Conference will feature how-to sessions with government officials, operators and owners from China and around the world, offering in-depth learning opportunities for those looking to establish partnerships, safety protocols, and essential infrastructure as business aviation grows in China.
