Foundry Innovation & Research 1, Ltd. announced that it has received €23.7 million ($25 million) in an oversubscribed round of funding co-led by new investors, Andera Partners and Novo Holdings A/S on March 15, 2023. The transaction included participation from existing investors, Gilde Healthcare Partners B.V., Gimv NV, Ireland Strategic Investment Fund, Medtronic plc, New Enterprise Associates, Inc., LSV Capital Management, LLC and Seventure Partners. As part of the transaction, Aneta Sottil of Andera Life Sciences and Eric Snyder of Novo Holdings A/S has joined company's board of directors.
