Megmilk Snow Brand Co., Ltd. announced earnings results for the first quarter ended June 30, 2021. For the quarter, the company reported Net Sales were ¥142,820 million against ¥156,298 million a year ago. Operating profit was ¥6,523 million against ¥5,026 million a year ago. Profit was ¥4,800 million against ¥3,176 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was ¥71.08 against ¥46.93 a year ago.
MEGMILK SNOW BRAND Co., Ltd. is a company mainly engaged in the dairy products and beverage business. The Company operates in three business segments. The Dairy Product segment is engaged in the manufacture and sale of cheese, butter, dry milk and other dairy products, margarine and other fat and oil products, as well as baby milk powder and other baby care supplies. The Drink and Dessert segment is engaged in the manufacture and sale of beverage such as milk and fruit juice and others, yoghurt and dessert, among others. The Feed and Seed segment is engaged in the manufacture and sale of cattle feed, seed of grass and feed crop, as well as vegetable seed. The others business is engaged in the rental of real estate and the operation of cooperative distribution centers.
