Merck : Biden to Announce Merck Will Help Make Johnson & Johnson Vaccine

President Biden will announce Tuesday that Merck & Co. will help produce Johnson & Johnson's single-shot Covid-19 vaccine, according to administration officials.

The Johnson & Johnson vaccine was recently authorized by the Food and Drug Administration. The assistance from Merck, usually a competitor to Johnson & Johnson, will help speed up production of vaccines.
