Mercury General : Insurance Wins 2020 Cigna Well-Being Award for Team-member Wellness Program

LOS ANGELES, Calif. (November 17, 2020) - Mercury Insurance (NYSE: MCY) has been selected as a recipient of the 2020 Cigna Well-Being Award for demonstrating a strong commitment to improving the health and well-being of its team-members through a workplace wellness program, 'My Health at Mercury.'

Mercury Insurance launched My Health at Mercury more than a decade ago and the program today is designed to support team-members and their loved ones on their wellness journeys. The program implements voluntary challenges and team activities that encourage improved health, productivity and quality of life. Team-members who participate are also rewarded based on their completion of activities and challenges, which include life coach webinars, financial workshops and learning new skills.

Cigna Well-Being Award applicants are evaluated based on the core components of their wellness program, including leadership engagement, company culture, strategy and goals, implementation, and

employee engagement. All applications are scored and reviewed by a panel of Cigna health promotion experts.
