Merry Electronics Co., Ltd. reported earnings results for the second quarter and six months ended June 30, 2022. For the second quarter, the company reported sales was TWD 8,004.47 million compared to TWD 8,168.67 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 392.65 million compared to TWD 111.22 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 1.84 compared to TWD 0.54 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 1.66 compared to TWD 0.52 a year ago.
For the six months, sales was TWD 14,022.81 million compared to TWD 15,903.46 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 502.94 million compared to TWD 132.14 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 2.35 compared to TWD 0.64 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 2.14 compared to TWD 0.63 a year ago.
Merry Electronics Co Ltd is a Taiwan-based company mainly engaged in the production of headphones, audio and speakers. Products include speakers, hands-free handsets, power banks, hearing aids, entertainment headsets, portable speakers and Bluetooth headsets. The products are used in mobile computers, tablet computers, mobile phones, televisions, wearable devices, and smart homes. The products are mainly sold to Asia, Europe and the Americas.
