Meta Financial Group, Inc. announced unaudited consolidated earnings results for the second quarter and six months ended March 31, 2020. For the quarter, the company announced net income attributable of USD 52.304 million compared to USD 32.120 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was USD 1.45 compared to USD 0.81 a year ago. Net interest income was USD 67.737 million compared to USD 71.350 million a year ago. Total revenue for the fiscal 2020 second quarter was $188.3 million, compared to $176.4 million for the same quarter in fiscal 2019.
For the six months, the company announced net income attributable of USD 73.372 million compared to USD 47.518 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was USD 2.00 compared to USD 1.21 a year ago. Net interest income was USD 132.388 million compared to USD 131.622 million a year ago.

The Bank operates through three segments: Consumer, Commercial, and Corporate Services/Other.
