Communications services companies fell, but not by as much as the broad market, as gains for defensive telecom companies such as AT&T and Comcast offset losses for social media concerns such as Meta Platforms and Twitter.
Twitter Chief Executive Parag Agrawal is overhauling the messaging service's executive team, with the head of engineering and design-and-research set to step down as of Dec. 31, following founder Jack Dorsey out the door.
