　　On February 12, Zhang Mengxing, Deputy Secretary of the CPC Committee of MCC and Secretary of the CPC Committee and President of China MCC, met with Shi Zhanyong, Vice Mayor of Zhengzhou City, Henan Province, and his delegation in Beijing. The two sides had in-depth exchanges on deepening cooperation in urban infrastructure, regional development, industrial park construction, rail transit construction, real estate development, theme parks, integrated underground pipelines, equipment manufacturing, environmental governance and other areas.

　　Zhang Mengxing started with a warm welcome to Shi Zhanyong and his delegation, thanked Zhengzhou Municipal Government for its years of support for MCC, and briefed them on MCC's history and development. Zhang Mengxing said that as the world's largest and strongest metallurgical construction contractor and operation service provider, MCC has been devoted to the strategic positioning of "being the national team of metallurgical construction, the main force of infrastructure construction, and the frontrunner of emerging industries, with long-term adherence to the path toward high-tech and high-quality development" by virtue of its strong technological strength in ferrous metallurgy. 　　According to Zhang Mengxing, as the core city of the Henan Economic Circle, Zhengzhou boasts huge potential for development. MCC attaches great importance to Zhengzhou's markets, with MCC17, Shanghai Baoye and other MCC's major subsidiaries actively participating in the construction of the city. As such, MCC has established sound and long-term cooperation relations with Zhengzhou. Zhengzhou now faces new historical opportunities in development.
