COMPLETION OF THE PROPOSED ACQUISITION

The Board of Directors (the "Board") of Metech International Limited (the "Company", and together with its subsidiaries, the "Group") refers to the announcements made by the Company on 21 September 2021 and 22 September 2021 in relation to the proposed acquisition of 60% equity interest in Blufu Water (Xinmin) Co., Ltd. ("BWCL") (the "Proposed Acquisition").

The Board wishes to update shareholders that upon clarification with the Singapore Exchange Regulation Pte. Ltd.("SGX RegCo") through its Sponsor, the Proposed Acquisition falls within the circumstances set out in Paragraph 4.4(b) of Practice Note 10A of the Listing Manual Section B: Rules of Catalist ("Catalist Rules"). Accordingly, the Company is not required to consult SGX RegCo on the Proposed Acquisition.

In light of the above, the Proposed Acquisition has been completed and BWCL has become an indirect owned subsidiary of the Company.
