Metrod Holdings Berhad is a Malaysia-based manufacturer of oxygen free copper rod, wire and strip. The Company's segments include Copper Business and Hospitality Business. The Copper Business segment is engaged in the procurement of raw materials and manufacturing and marketing of electrical conductivity grade copper wires, rods and strips. Its copper products are used for various applications, including generation, transmission and distribution of electricity, telecommunication, lighting protection, and motors. It owns a hotel, which is operated under the name St. Regis Resorts Goa. The hotel is a five-star deluxe resort spread across 48.69 acres of peninsular land which has Arabian Sea on two sides and the river Sal on the eastern side. It has an approximately 206-room beach-spa resort with seven restaurants, pool areas, golf course and conferencing facilities. Its subsidiaries include Metrod (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd, Metrod Holdings (Singapore) Pte Ltd and Metrod International Pvt Ltd.
