Metsä Board, a leading European producer of premium fresh fibre paperboards and part of Metsä Group, was awarded a prestigious Ozzie Award for the design of its stakeholder communications magazine spring 2020 issue. The award was given for the category 'Design, Single Magazine Issue, B2B'. The magazine is produced by Hube Helsinki Oy.Marjo Halonen, VP Communications from Metsä Board said: "In designing the Board Magazine we wanted to provide a design inspiration for circular packaging. Together with our own packaging design team and partners we created a concept of a modular packaging structure inspired by nature and used its elements as basis of the design of this issue."

Metsä Board Oyj is a leading European cardboard and paper producer. Net sales break down by product family as follows:
- packaging cardboard (59%): for cosmetic, pharmaceutical, and food products and cigarettes;
- white kraftliner (24%). The group also provides office paper and special papers (papers for printing magazines, catalogues, art books, advertising materials, etc.);
- pulp (13%);
- other (4%).
At the end of 2023, the group had 8 production sites located in Finland (7) and Sweden.
Net sales are distributed geographically as follows: Finland (4.6%), Europe/Middle East/Africa (61.8%), the United States (22.3%), America (4.3%) and Asia/Pacific (7%).
