Moveworks announced an expansion of its strategic alliance with Microsoft that will allow employees to access Moveworks as an agent within Microsoft 365 Copilot and Microsoft Teams. This integration marks a significant milestone in the evolution of enterprise AI, empowering employees to search and take action with Moveworks directly within Microsoft 365 Copilot. In recent years, generative AI has transformed how users engage with conversational agents, raising the bar for intuitive and transparent interactions. While Microsoft has applied these innovations to its own Copilot platform, Moveworks as a Microsoft 365 Copilot agent will extend these capabilities for enterprise use cases.

This collaboration will incorporate Microsoft?s generative AI framework, offering features that align with evolving expectations for conversational agents, including: Guided interactions with sample prompts. Real-time response streaming for faster feedback. Citation transparency for factual responses.

Threaded conversations for easy access to past interactions. The integration also introduces seamless interoperability between Microsoft 365 Copilot and Moveworks enterprise-grade agent. Employees can use Microsoft 365 Copilot to identify tasks from emails, chats, or calendar events, then rely on Moveworks to complete those tasks?such as submitting requests, resetting passwords, or updating systems?without breaking the workflow.

Moveworks is available for purchase via the Azure Marketplace, allowing organizations to use their pre-committed Microsoft Azure Consumption Commitment (MACC) spend toward Moveworks licensing.
