NOTICE TO THE MARKET

Minerva S.A. ("Minerva" or "Company"), leading beef exporter in South America, informs its shareholders and the market in general that it has become the first Brazilian company to receive, on a global scale, the Renewable Energy Seal, issued by the Instituto Totum, in partnership with the Brazilian Wind Energy Association (ABEEólica) and the Brazilian Clean Energy Association (Abragel), for all its units in Brazil.

This accomplishment was achieved as the result of an audit conducted by the Totum Institute, according to Seal Regulations, which, among other factors, ensures the purchase of renewable energy certificates (I-RECs) by Minerva Foods, with the REC seal of Brazil. This initiative has made it possible to achieve a net zero in Scope 2 emissions (indirect Greenhouse Gas emissions from the acquisition of electricity consumed) for 100% of our operation in Brazil. By purchasing certificates in quantities compatible with the amount consumed in the manufacturing of its products, the units of Minerva Foods in Brazil officially certify that they are powered by electricity originating from wind power.

The REC seal of Brazil, not only requires protocols for restricting CO2 emissions in the atmosphere, but also requires that energy suppliers that issue I-REC certification (plants) incorporate into their operations a strong performance in regards to sustainability, by obtaining distinguished levels in social and environmental aspects and in community engagement. Thus, the electricity utilized by Minerva Foods at its industrial units, in addition to not contributing to CO2 emissions, is generated by facilities that meet at least five of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the UN.

This is yet another major achievement in the objectives of Minerva Foods for sustainability, which have intensified year after year. The Renewable Energy Seal endeavors to encourage the use of renewable energy sources in the domestic market, and to acknowledge companies that have distinguished themselves in promoting efficient and sustainable alternatives in the supply of energy.

This recognition reaffirms our commitment to sustainability, as we seek to combat global warming, illegal deforestation and climate change. Over the next few years, Minerva will invest up to R$ 1.5 billion in projects that will help reduce emissions throughout the entire production chain. About the Seal:

The Renewable Energy Certification Program is a joint initiative of the Associação Brasileira de Geração de Energia Limpa (Abragel) and the Associação Brasileira de Energia Eólica (ABEEólica), which aims to promote the market for energy generated from renewable sources and high performance in regards to sustainability. The Seal is managed and audited by Instituto Totum, a third-party accredited certifier.

The Company reaffirms its commitment in maintaining its shareholders and the market in general up to date regarding the progress of this and any other matters of interest.
