FalconX, Ltd. announced that it has received $210 million in a round of funding co-led by new investors Altimeter Capital Management, LP, Sapphire Ventures, LLC, and existing investors B Capital Group Management, L.P., Tiger Global Management LLC on August 10, 2021. The transaction also included participation from existing investor American Express Ventures and new investor Mirae Asset Venture Investment Co., Ltd. The round was raised at post-money valuation of $3.75 billion.
Mirae Asset Venture Investment Co., Ltd is a Korea-based venture capital (VC) firm engaged in the investment in small to medium enterprises (SMEs). The Company principally engaged in the investment in SMEs and venture companies, overseas investment, establishment and management of business incubation centers, as well as formation of private equity funds (PEFs). The Company also provides initial public offering (IPO), merger and acquisitions (M&A), business management, consulting and restructuring services.
