MISUMI Group Inc. : MISUMI Announces Deep Pricing Discounts for Volume Orders of Fixed and Configurable Factory Automation Components

Increased discounts on more than 50 product categories offer cost savings for manufacturers of production and assembly equipment, testing, inspection and quality control workstations.

MISUMI USA, Inc., a subsidiary of MISUMI Corporation, part of MISUMI Group, Inc. (Tokyo: 9962), announces it has deepened its volume discount pricing program that reduces prices on larger volume orders of fixed and configurable components used in production machinery, automated work cells and testing equipment.

In an announcement to customers, MISUMI notes that the price reductions are the result of the company achieving manufacturing cost savings across its global operations. In turn, MISUMI is passing these cost savings along to its customers around the world.

Effective immediately, the new price reduction program spans over 50 different product groups, including Machined Components, Linear Motion products, Gears, Pulleys, Bearings and other hardware and materials. Price reduction percentages vary depending on the quantity ordered. For example:

• Precision Linear Shafts - average 16 percent lower, up to 46 percent for higher quantities
• Locating Pins - average 10 percent lower, up to 21 percent for higher quantities
• Linear Bushings - average 23 percent lower, up to 42 percent for higher quantities
• Gears - average 16 percent lower, up to 37 percent for higher quantities
