Notice of Recording of Extraordinary Income in Non-Consolidated Financial Results

MITSUBISHI MOTORS CORPORATION ("MMC") announces that MMC expects to record extraordinary income in its non-consolidated financial results for the fiscal year ended March 31, 2021, as detailed below.

1. Recording extraordinary income in non-consolidated financial results
   The mutual agreement procedure by taxing authorities of Japan and Thailand reached an agreement on the bilateral advance pricing arrangement ("APA") with regard to the transfer pricing method applied to related party transactions between MMC and Mitsubishi Motors (Thailand) Company., Ltd. ("MMTh") whose request had previously been filed by MMC and MMTh.
   Pursuant to the agreement, MMC decided to receive a transfer price adjustment from MMTh as a result of which it expects to record approx. 49,000 million yen of extraordinary income in its non-consolidated financial results for the fiscal year ended March 31, 2021.
2. Impact on consolidated financial results
   Since this event relates to intra-group transactions, the impact on the consolidated financial results for the fiscal year ended March 31, 2021 is expected to be immaterial.
   Since a certain amount of impact of this event on the consolidated financial results has already been reflected in the published consolidated financial forecast for the fiscal year ending March 31, 2021, the financial forecast will not be revised by the event.
