Mitsuuroko Group Holdings Co.,Ltd. (TSE:8131) announces a share repurchase program. Under the program, the company will repurchase up to 673,000 shares, representing 1.08% for total worth of ¥888.36 million. The purpose of share repurchase to enable flexible execution of capital policies in response to changes in the business environment. The program is valid till February 8, 2021. As of January 31, 2021, the company had 62,174,945 shares are in issue and 157,443 shares are in treasury.
Mitsuuroko Group Holdings Co.,Ltd. is a Japan-based company mainly engaged in the sale of petroleum products, liquefied petroleum (LP) gas and solid fuels. The Company operates through four business segments. The Energy segment sells petroleum products such as LP gas, gasoline, light oil and kerosene, as well as household equipment for combustion and kitchens. The Electric Power segment provides wholesale electricity from wind power generation and retail electricity to general consumers centered on biomass power generation. The Food & Provisions segment operates a cafeteria in hospitals and companies, develops a burger restaurant chain Carls Junior, and provides grocery business. The Particulate Matter (PM) / Health and Sports segment leases real estate and manages facilities with the theme of health and sports.
