--Mizuho Financial Group Inc.'s banking unit plans to take a 7.5% stake in Vietnamese smartphone payment company M-Service, Japanese business daily Nikkei reported Friday without citing sources.

--Mizuho is expected to spend between 15 billion yen ($132.2 million) and Y20 billion as early as this month, to acquire the stake, in a bid to bolster its retail business in Asia, the report said.
