Mizuho Leasing Company, Limited announced that it has set up a new rental scheme for the Nemuri SCAN monitoring support system in collaboration with Paramount Bed Co., Ltd. Nemuri SCAN is a sensor sheet that detects body movement. Simply by placing it under the mattress, it can be used to remotely monitor in real time vital signs such as respiratory rate, pulse rate, and sleep state, and whether the user has woken up, sat up, or got out of bed. Nursing homes and other healthcare facilities can use it to monitor users at night and ascertain their living conditions, thus improving safety for users and reducing the workload of nursing care staff.
