[Press Release]

November 29, 2021

Coincheck, Inc.

Coincheck agreed on the new fund-raising project through IEO (Initial Exchange Offering) with FiNANCiE

Selling "FiNANCiE Tokens" by the summer 2022, aiming to build new relationships with

fans and customers through the use of platform tokens

Coincheck, Inc. (Head office: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo, President: Satoshi Hasuo, hereinafter Coincheck) is

pleased to announce the conclusion of an agreement with FiNANCiE, Inc. (Head office: Shibuya-ku,

Tokyo, Representative Director: Hironao Kunimitsu, hereinafter FiNANCiE) on its plans to conduct an IEO (Initial Exchange Offering) by the summer 2022.

An IEO (Initial Exchange Offering) is a type of Initial Coin Offering (ICO) where a company or project electronically issues utility tokens to procure funds, with a cryptocurrency exchange acting as the main party for screening the project and selling the issuer tokens. An IEO not only enables issuers to raise funds but also to help them with the formation and growth of the communities by utilizing issued tokens.

Coincheck has launched an IEO platform "Coincheck IEO" in July 2021 and successfully conducted Japan's first IEO fund raising with Hashpalette Inc. As its second project, FiNANCiE will issue and sell FiNANCiE Tokens on Coincheck IEO platform. FiNANCiE has already issued, sold, planned and managed tokens for over 100 individuals and organizations under its mission of "realizing a creator centric economy that supports the challenges of a billion people."

The "FiNANCiE Token" to be issued and sold by this project will be used as a platform token that will play the role of a common currency for FiNANCiE's NFT service and the club tokens issued at the "FiNANCiE", crowdfunding 2.0 service provided by FiNANCiE. A part of the funds raised through this IEO will be used for further expansion of the "FiNANCiE" and NFT businesses.

Through this initiative, Coincheck hopes to support FiNANCiE's goal of "building new relationships with fans and customers in the age of the individuals, where companies are no longer necessary."

FiNANCiE Overview

FiNANCiE develops NFT business and crowdfunding 2.0 service "FiNANCiE" using blockchain technology, and aims to create new value-generating token economy by issuing, planning and operating tokens (FiNANCiE Token & NFT). Currently, FiNANCiE issues, sells, plans, and operates tokens for more than 100 issuers (individuals, sport clubs, and projects), including tokens for professional soccer clubs such as Shonan Bellmare and Avispa Fukuoka, both J1 soccer clubs, and Ryukyu Astrida, a professional table tennis team that won the T-League championship.
