Moody's Corporation (NYSE:MCO) agreed to acquire SCRiesgo on December 1, 2022. Post acquisition, SCRiesgo will become an affiliate of Moody’s Local. Gary Barquero will continue to lead the company’s operations following the acquisition.
Transaction is subject to regulatory approval and is expected to close in the second quarter of 2023. Fernando Arias F of Arias Fabrega & Fabrega acted as legal advisor to Moody's Corporation.
