DIVIDEND PAYMENT REGARDING THE YEAR 2021
Under the terms of the law, shareholders are hereby notified that, according to the deliberation of the General Shareholders Meeting held on May 6, 2022, and since the condition established in the aforementioned deliberation was achieved, more specifically, that the consolidated net profit attributable to the Mota-Engil Group in the first half of 2022 be greater than 50% of the consolidated net profit attributable to the Mota-Engil Group in the year of 2021, the additional dividend related to the 2021financial year will be payable from October 5, 2022, and will arise to the following amount:
Gross dividend per share €0.01725*
*Subject to personal/corporate income tax withholding in accordance with the Portuguese Tax Law and rates in force at the payment date.
The paying agent appointed for this purpose is Caixa Geral de Depósitos.
The dividend payment will be processed through the "Central de Valores Mobiliários" according to the Regulation in force applicable to dematerialized securities, in this case under the MEN AE code.
For the purpose of benefiting of tax exemption, or reduction, or elimination of personal/corporate income withholding, shareholders must confirm their tax situation and prove all the relevant facts and information required for application of such benefits to the financial institution in which the respective shares are registered or deposited until the day before of the dividend payment.
Furthermore, from October 3, 2022, inclusive, the shares will be traded on the stock market without conferring the right to the dividend.
