MOTA-ENGIL INFORMS ON THE AWARD OF A CONTRACT IN IVORY COAST AMOUNTING TO 213 MILLION USD

MOTA-ENGIL S.G.P.S., S.A. ("MOTA-ENGIL") informs that its subsidiary for the African region has been awarded a mining contract in Ivory Coast by Roxgold Sango, S.A. worth 213 million USD.

The Seguela Gold Project is in the Worodougou Region of the Woroba District, Cote d'Ivoire, and is located approximately 240km north-west of Yamoussoukro and approximately 480km north-west of Abidjan and consists of the resource-defined near-surface Antenna, Koula, Agouti, Boulder, and Ancien deposits.

The mining services to be carried out by MOTA-ENGIL under the contract shall include mine development, pit dewatering, free digging, ripping, drilling, blasting, loading, and hauling of ore and waste. The works are scheduled to start in December 2022 and will have a duration of 66 months.

With this award, the GROUP continues reinforcing its backlog and diversifying the clients and types of project in Africa, assuring a constant flow of revenues in the medium and long term.
