MOTA-ENGIL INFORMS ABOUT THE AWARD OF A NEW CONCESSION WITH A CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT WORTH 240 MILLION EUROS IN MEXICO

MOTA-ENGIL S.G.P.S., S.A. ("MOTA-ENGIL") informs that the State of Mexico has awarded MOTA-ENGIL MEXICO ("MEM") a 30-year concession contract for the construction, operation, conservation and maintenance of the highway Tultepec-AIFA-Piramides.

This highway besides being an important ring road for Mexico City connecting three main highways that access the city through the north, it will also be one of the accesses to the new International Airport Felipe Angeles. This 27 km road concession in which MOTA-ENGIL has 100% share includes 240 million euros of design and build construction contract that will be executed by MEM.

This new contract increases the backlog of MOTA-ENGIL in the region thus balancing the total volume of future works between the three regions which already surpasses the 6 billion euros level, reaching a new record.
