MOTA-ENGIL INFORMS ON THE AWARD OF A MINING CONTRACT IN MALI AMOUNTINGTO 357 MILLION USD
MOTA-ENGIL S.G.P.S., S.A. ("MOTA-ENGIL") informs that its subsidiary for the African region, in partnership with a local partner, Inter-Mining Services (70%/30%), has been awarded a mining contract in Mali by Societé des Mines de Morila, S.A., an entity owned 80% by a listed Australian company and 20% by the State of Mali, worth 357 million USD.
The aforementioned contract, which scope will cover three gold mines, is scheduled to start in August 2021, will have a duration of 81 months and will have the billing and payments indexed to USD.
With this award, the GROUP sees its performance recognized in the mining area, as well as, its order book strengthened in the African region with a medium and long-term contract that will generate recurrent cash flows.
