INCORRECT DISCLOSURE OF BENEFICIAL INTEREST IN SECURITIES

Shareholders are referred to the announcement released on SENS on 18 March 2022, relating to the acquisition of Motus securities by Investec Limited and Investec Markets (Pty) Ltd ("Investec") that amounted to 5.6636% and 5.6032%, respectively, pursuant to notifications received from Investec in terms of section 122(1) of the Companies Act, 2008 (Act 71 of 2008).

The Company has since been advised that the notifications were issued to Motus by Investec in error and neither of the two entities actually crossed the 5% threshold. Accordingly, the notices filed in terms of section 122(3)(a) of the Companies Act have been retracted from the Takeover Regulation Panel.

The board of directors of Motus accepts responsibility for the information contained in this announcement and confirms that, to the best of its knowledge and belief, the information contained in this announcement is true and nothing has been omitted which is likely to affect the importance of the information.
