Mountain Province Diamonds Inc. is a resource company. The Company holds approximately 49% interest in the operating Gahcho Kue Project (GK Mine or GK Project) in Canada’s Northwest Territories. The Company also owns an 100 % interest in the mineral rights of the Kennady North Project (KNP). GK Project and KNP are located in the Northwest Territories of Canada, 300 kilometer (km) east-northeast of Yellowknife, on the traditional territories of Tlicho, Dene and Metis people. The Gahcho Kue Project covers approximately 5,216 hectares of mining leases. The Company’s KNP Project comprises 22 federal leases and 97 claims covering an area of approximately 113,000 hectares of mineral claims and leases surrounding the Gahcho Kue Mine that include an Indicated mineral resource for the Kelvin kimberlite and Inferred mineral resources for the Faraday kimberlites.
