New York, NY (May 9, 2017) - The New York Chapter of the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences (NATAS) announced Saturday that MSG Networks (NYSE: MSGN) received 17 New York Emmy Awards ranging from Live Event Production to Original Programming. The New York Emmy Awards recognize television and advanced media programs that were produced for telecast in New York state and northern New Jersey, and aired between September 1, 2015 and August 31, 2016.

MSG Network tallied 14 of the 17 Emmy wins, bringing its total to 140 over the past 10 years, more than any single network or station in the region over that time.

'It is an honor for us to be recognized at this year's New York Emmy Awards with 17 wins, including one for Pegula Sports and Entertainment / MSG Network in Western New York,' said Andrea Greenberg, president and chief executive officer, MSG Networks. 'MSG Networks continue their dedication to delivering exceptional programming with the highest production values. I would like to acknowledge our incredibly talented staff on this very special achievement.'

In the prestigious 'Live Event' categories, MSG won two Emmys for its 'Friday Night Knicks' game telecasts for both Series and Program/Special, one win for 'Rangers Playoff Pregame' coverage, and a win for New Jersey Devils Director Tom Meberg for Live Directing.

MSG Network's original programming series, The Garden's Defining Moments, scored four wins, and Beginnings: JB Smoove, also took home an Emmy.
