MTN Nigeria and other telecommunications companies operating in Nigeria should improve the quality of their services to give Nigerians value for their money, the Minister of Communications and Digital Economy, Isa Ibrahim Ali Pantami, has said.

Pantami gave this charge to the MTN board led by its chairman, Mcebisi Jonas, when they paid him a courtesy visit in his office yesterday.

He said the government was committed to providing conducive and enabling environment for all mobile telecommunications operating in the country to do their businesses without any hindrance in any part of the country.

Earlier, MTN Group President/CEO, Rob Shuter, had said the company had budgeted $1.6 bn to invest in Nigeria market for the next three years. He added that Nigeria investors' shares in MTN are growing rapidly.
